The cost for sites depends upon the number of pages, revisions, CRM integration, and other variables. We also offer some out-of-the-box options which have a monthly fee but little to no upfront development costs. We can also create a site and duplicate it for multiple branches and/or loan officers.

  • Pricing varies depending upon the scope of the project.
  • Custom Mortgage Websites: Most 5-20 page sites end up in the $2000-$5000 range depending upon the client’s needs and the number of revisions.
  • Out-of-the-Box Mortgage Websites:  Cost is $100/mo (with a 12 mo. commitment – billed monthly by credit card). There is NO set-up fee.

Q. Can customers make changes to their site after they’re live?
A. We build all of our mortgage websites in WordPress which is the world’s most used content management system. Most of our clients feel comfortable making basic edits to website copy. Clients can add pages and blog posts as needed. If you need help, you can just call us. We do bill for our time at our current hourly rate ($85/hr – billed to the minute). If we work on your site for seven minutes, that’s all we would bill for.

Q. Who hosts the website?
A. You can host the website wherever you’d like. We often recommend GoDaddy’s Basic Managed WordPress hosting. It is very inexpensive and you/we can get them on the phone if something happens to the site. We will help with the hosting set-up. We do not offer website or email hosting at this time.

Q. What do your out-of-the-box mortgage websites look like?
A. We offer a versatile site designed for lead capture complete with copy and forms. You can see an example of the site in action here. We will customize the site with your logo and colors. You will have the ability to update the copy as you see fit. We will walk you through how to make basic changes to the copy.

Q. How does billing work?
A. For custom sites, we bill at the end of each month for work completed during the course of that month. This ensures that we get compensated in the event that the client gets busy and takes awhile to get back on track with the project. For our out-of-the-box websites, we charge $100/mo. on the client’s credit card. We do require a 12 month commitment. If you prefer to pay a 1-time set-up fee of $300, we waive the 12 month commitment and you can go month-to-month with a 30 days cancellation notice.

If the client has a multi-state footprint and 5-10 different campaigns, then the price will likely be higher as more time would be needed. If you prefer to manage the campaigns internally, we would quote the project based upon development time. The cost for PPC management also includes monthly reporting.

How Much Do You Have to Spend with Google and/or Bing?

That’s up to you. You set daily budgets which enable you to control your costs. You will pay Google and/or Bing directly for the cost of the clicks using a credit card.

Why don’t we do these things? Over the past few years Google has placed a great deal on value in the authority of a domain. One of the biggest factors for domain authority is the quality and quantity of inbound links pointing to a site. So, if are a local mortgage company in Dallas, wanting to rank for “mortgage refinance” it will be tough to outrank Bankrate.com, Suntrust.com, WellsFargo.com, etc no matter what you try since those site have tens of thousands of inbound links and you may have 10.
